Training Packages

Weight loss Package - This is never easy for anyone, however with my personal training skills we will create a cardiovascular workout programme consisting of an activity that you enjoy, combining it with strength training, such as lifting weights, as this type of activity helps the body burn more calories, even at rest !

 I will also provide you with additional lifestyle changes, nutritional advice and all the motivation necessary. Realistic targets, regular programme reviews and progression measuring will be used for maximum success.

General Fitness Package - Recent figures indicate that 64 per cent of men and 74 per cent of women in this country do not get enough exercise. Studies have shown that regular exercise lowers the risk of serious health problems such as, cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis. It also helps with weight control, improves flexibility, reduces stress, and improves overall quality of life, need I say more ! This programme is a must if you are  feeling fatigued and generally out of salts.
 
Body Sculpting Package -  If your goal is to tone specific body parts i.e back of arms, bum, stomach all the usual places that go a little south as we get older ! or just need a helping hand, I will create a programme concentrating on specific muscles of the body sculpting them so they are lean and toned.  This is an enjoyable goal with the potential for some great results.               
                                                                                                          
Endurance training/Sports Specific Package - If you are training for a particular sport which involves a large quantity of continual physical activity, or you have decided to participate in a marathon, you will need to train your body to withstand the constant physical demands made on it. Endurance training involves progressively pushing your body to the max for long periods of time whilst preventing muscle tiredness. Therefore a programme will be designed around your sports specific requirements.

Group Training Package - The majority of training I provide is on a 'one to one' basis however I do offer training with a friend or partner. You simply choose the package or we create a package together and the training can begin for both of you. It is a good way to share the cost of having a personal trainer and can help with motivation as well as the enjoyment in training with a friend

Nutritional Package - This 6 week package helps you to understand in detail exactly what it is you are putting into your body, showing you where you're going right or wrong.

We will firstly need to analyse your food intake, times and quantities with the use of food diaries. This will enable me to provide you with a comprehensive breakdown of your micronutrients displaying which foods to avoid (i.e. foods with a high saturated fat content) and between us choose alternative foods to ensure you personally recieve the correct micronitrient breakdown for that all important healthy eating plan.

**Flexibility is a vital, if often neglected component of fitness, as it is a requisite for optimal musculoskeletal function. Various stretching techniques will be employed with all packages to maintain or increase flexibility**.
